Workforce Develpoment
We’re committed to building technical capacity in coral restoration and environmental management through paid internships, mentorship programs, and contractual positions. These hands-on opportunities provide valuable experience and professional development, equipping individuals with the skills needed to lead future conservation efforts. By nurturing local talent, we create a skilled workforce that supports long-term environmental sustainability while offering pathways for meaningful careers in marine conservation.
Education and Outreach
The Resilient Coastlines curriculum engages K-12 students in the vital concepts of habitat restoration and the various career opportunities in environmental conservation. By incorporating hands-on activities, students gain practical insights into the importance of restoring coastal ecosystems. Mangrove and Native Plant Restoration
Our dedicated team is actively cultivating red mangroves and a variety of native coastal plants for strategic outplanting throughout St. Croix, with a focused effort in the West End. Our mission is to enhance local ecosystems by supporting wildlife habitats, bolstering fisheries improving water quality and mitigating shoreline erosion. Through our initiatives, we aim to foster a sustainable coastal environment.
